How to identify fake cards.

Sorry I have not posted in awhile everyone! Here is a post to tie you over before i do the secrets of ancient mew!
Fake cards from mypokecard.com have the words, -fake card- at the bottom. Most of these are not very convincing though.
Some fake cards have upside down energy symbols, so watch out for those!
Some people say fake cards are bendy, but that is NOT always true. For example, I have a Mewtwo from world champs that is bendy, and it is VERY old, and these cards have certain characteristics.
Most cards are just plain stupid looking.
Some cards have a name like "dark dragonite" or "Golden Pikachu." These are useually fake.

Hi guys! Um, I'm posting this from school. I have a question for you. HAVE YOU FREAKING SEEN SYLVEON, THE NEWEST EEVEELOUTION????? When I saw it for the first time, I almost clawed my eyes out. I'll try to get a picture up so you can see it for yourself, but these school computers don't work well with blogger. So... It's type is unknown, but I'm thinking it's either a flying type, because apparently the "Sylv" part of its name mean fly, or a useless type. I mean, literally, IT HAS FREAKING BOWS ON IT. AND IT'S PINK. Really, Nintendo? Really? And I thought Chespin was a disappointment. For the link to the Bulbapedia page, click here:

4chan’s /v/ is up to it again!
A new post on /v/ has someone claiming to be a worker at The Pokemon Company. He has devulged information about the new Pokemon X and Y games coming out this October for the 3DS. So far we’ve had rumors about new types, starter evolutions, and what types the starters will be but this is some juicy stuff. The post goes into how many new Pokemon will be in the game and some info about how it will be connected through the internet and utilize the 3DS’ technology.
The original post says:

“Alright. Choose to believe this or not, but I am currently working for the North American branch of The Pokemon Company. I am literally at the bottom of the food chain when it comes to a source of information/importance or even job security. Working for the localisation part of the franchise  literally mt only task  at this point has been to ensure no grammatical or spelling errors have been made for for the blurbs that will eventually be selected to feature on the back of the English 3DS packaging. I am one of few editors (meaning somebody verifies these short paragraphs before I do), so naturally there aren’t many mistakes. Anyway, I receive these small blurbs in a text format with no supported imagery at all. Here is an image of the 4chan post and by the way, [rgn] means region name, [cprt] means the corporate/trademark symbol, and [x1][y1]  basically means “insert game version letter here” for packaging purposes.
Any thoughts on this? Over 130 new Pokemon sounds great and I can’t wait to see what new evolutions aside from Sylveon will be in there.
Again, take this with a grain of salt but /v/ has had some leaks before with games.
Also, yes the guy says he’s in grammar and spelling but he notes that he posted this info before actually doing his job and fixing mistakes. He mentions this in the original thread. Still, pretty funny to say the least.

SORRY GUYS! We haven't been posting for a while, and I don't know about FYC or Elizabeth (Lizzy), but my excuse is that I was banned from the computer until March first. I'm writing this from school, so... I AM VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY SORRY. Ok?
Now, to get the mood back up, Imma talk about a random pokemon. It will be... FROAKIE!
In case you didn't know, that's the water type starter for X and Y. I LOVE IT! Partly cause it's a frog, partly because it's a water type. Ok, I've G2G now... BYE!
